Alice Pleace – 1869-1876

There won’t be any descendants for this cute little girl but maybe there’s a family member out there who would love to have it.

Henry Pleace was born about 1828 in a place unknown, the first place I found him was in Sydney (Australia) when he married Alice Kippin in 1866.

Henry & Alice had three daughters born in Sydney, none of whom survived to adulthood:-

I’ve been unable to find where Henry came from but Alice may be this one born in 1844 in Surrey, England, going by her parents names listed on her death registration:-

But without an age at death it’s hard to say for sure. Henry’s death registration gives his age but not his parents’ names:-

The following children are all for a William & Elizabeth Kippen but there is a 21 year gap between the youngest and Alice so either she was baptised many years after she was born or she doesn’t belong to this William & Elizabeth:-

In the 1851 census in England there is an Alice Kippin born in Mitcham which seems to suggest she is the sister of the above lot but she is aged 20 so IF the above baptism is her she was 14 when she was baptised.

She also could be the daughter of this William & Elizabeth who were married in Wiltshire in 1846, no children on the IGI for them though:-
