John Aitken was my...Thank you for this information. John Aitken was my grandfather. This is the first time I have found out that his father, the Rev John was born in Hampshire. We have only known of his service at St Thomas Achill Isle and in Wicklow.John Aitken died in Johannesburg, South Africa. My brother John and has family still live on the same property where I also grew up.My father died there at the age of 96. I wonder what your interest is in the family?
